A woman was sitting in the grass outside the university, her hair was held back in a loosely fit ponytail, taking a deep breath and sighing a little. She was somewhat agitated, but being out here in the open air usually calmed her back down because the smell of nature always had for her. But as usual sitting out in the open caused her to be very alert, and cautious about the people who either belonged or didn't belong to her group. It was a protective thing, but at the same time she was clearly instinctive to attack the first person who didn't have a good reason to be in her territory. Glancing up at the sky she squinted slightly to see just how the sky always looked like it was on fire, but she knew it used to be a beautiful shade of different blues. Except now it seemed to always look like it was in an eternal sunset sometimes, and when it would get dark it was darker than most nights even if the moon appeared. She was afraid to think about it, but the fact the full moon was slowly coming was enough to make her insides churn with unease, and wondering just how these things were going to go this time. Sometimes, it just wasn't pretty while at other full moon incidents it went just fine and no one ever got hurt. Sighing faintly, she moved her gaze back to the field around her, the grass was untrimmed but so was most of the grassy areas. Most of the trees broke through the pavement that vehicles used to drive on, but it was terrible terrain now for such things. Taking a deep breath she relaxed slightly, but was on edge when it carried the scent of someone she didn't recognize. A low growl escaped her throat, slowly getting to her feet and flexing her fingers a bit with a small crack she waiting to see a sign from the stranger.

She had been roaming around the university for about a month now. Always around unssen but she kept her distance. Unsure of she should join or not. Here anybody was welcome and treated as equal no matter which race they were from. She trecked around on the ground in her fox form. She could move a little bit more easier in this form than the other two she had.
Her head raised as the wind blew a scent toward her. She reconized it as a female Lycanthrope. From sneaking around she heard others say that her name was Sarah. Her black nose wriggled as she started around for the front part of the University. Serila's ears perked when she saw her sitting in the grass. Sitting down she watched her from the shadows until the wind shifted and blew her own scent toward her.
Her ears went slightly back when she heard her make a low growl and stand up. She had heard the damage a lycan could do when it losd control. Serilda really hadn't been around others much. Never staying in one place for to long afraid of getting to attached to anybody. Breathing in she thought "Come on Serilda..you can do it...just go out introduce yourself and ask to join"
Still in her fox form she took another breath in and sighed slowly and started to walk out. Her body was smaller than your usual fox having to do that she looked a little bit younger than she really was. In this form she looked like a small pup. Which she hated but at the moment she didn't car. Her eyes somewhat to the ground her ears were perked.

Sarah was never too keen to strangers, and for anyone to hear what her name was probably followed that. She knew that from time to time people of the group would talk about how they first met her, or even tried to join the group, but it never bothered her. As long as they never used her name, if they had heard it and not from her, she would be picky about letting just anyone in. Shifting on her feet a little, and wearing a bit of a sneer over her lips, she stared in the said strangers direction. When she saw the fox she was still tense, and maybe at first glance thought it was a wild animal, but the scent was definitely not animal. It belonged to that of a human, at least partial human, and she settled a little but the fact someone decided to wander here was another matter. Still standing, and putting herself in a bit of a straighter position, she held herself like someone who was better than anyone else. At least in human standards, but to her it was the animal-istic way to show she was the leader of the area. Don't act so pathetic, shapeshifter. She told the fox, whoever it may be. She never had a taste for the cute things, especially if they tried to play coy with her, none of her adopted kids tried that with her. It only worked on a few people, but she wasn't so easily convinced with the so-called 'cute look'.

She saw her move to stand in a straighter stand indeed saying as if she was the boss. Then she heard her say to not act so pathetic. Serila bad to think to herself "She wasn't trying to be" but did nothing. Taking a breath in she brought her head up and pushed up on her front shifting to her human form. Now stood a 17 year old girl with a purple shirt that had claw marks on the back with faded jeans.
She blinked saying "I'm Serilda and was looking to see if I could join your group?" She sniffed as a breeze came again. Though she knew they were the only two out she couldn't help the idea of being watched. It made her a little bit on edge but she didn't falter her stand. Her eyes deep brown now watched the female in front of her to see what she would say or do.

The woman didn't make any expression when the girl shifted, because she had seen it so many times with the other few shifters that were in her group and she sometimes saw it first hand in her own body. She shifted her shoulders a little at the thought, remembering those annoyingly painful times. And yet, these shifters had it much easier. But in no way did she envy them, because to her it would be too easy for her to stay in an animal form and never leave it. She snapped back into it when the girl spoke, and raised a brow at the question that was thrown her way. Serilda, eh? Sarah scoffed a little, but at the same time knew this was a kid nonetheless, and on the inside couldn't really throw kids out on the street any more than they already had been to begin with. Joining my group isn't something that a kid like you can slack in, we all have our part here. She told the younger girl, brushing back a bit of her own hair out of her face revealing the scar and not caring. We work here at as a team, better yet, a family. And if someone fails to do their part we all fail. You got that? Do you think you can pull your own weight? Sarah wasn't joking either, because they all had to work as a singular unit together and work together even through fighting or stress. If one person didn't do their part of the group right then everyone could either be in danger of dying in so many different ways.

She heard the female scoff a little at here name as she seemed to be thinking about it. Then she perked up when she said "Joining my group isn't something that a kid like you can slack in, we all have our part here." Serilda nodded slightly understanding and somewhat let her eyes roam the windows of the university.
Looking back at the female quickly she saw a scar across her face. Serila ignored it having seen tons of people with scars along their body. Then she heard the female say "We work here at as a team, better yet, a family. And if someone fails to do their part we all fail. You got that? Do you think you can pull your own weight?" "A family" she thought. A flashback of her being with her parents went through her mind and shook her head slightly pushing it away .
Serilda straightened her stand a little more and nodded saying "I know I can pull my own weight" She had been since she was on her on. But adding more things to that wouldn't bother her mch.

The woman was always unsure about letting new people into the group, but at the same time it was a relatively good thing because a lot of people needed a place to belong in this messed up world. And she knew that just like any other person. Because many times there were things that harmed her to no end, and she was given the responsibility to just survive more than how she or any other would have before the incident. I suppose, I'll have to say that you're more than welcome here, then. Sarah told the girl, relaxing her shoulders a bit but still very much on edge like always. But, seeing as how you're going to be staying here have you been to a college like this before? If not, I can always give you the map of the place, we've all edited it for our own needs.

"I suppose, I'll have to say that you're more than welcome here, then." She heard her say. Serilda sighed slightly with relief and looked around. She could finally be somewhere where she call a home. She saw her relax her shoulders and smirked saying "Thank you....um" she trailed off not knowing her name.
Looking back at her she heard her say "But, seeing as how you're going to be staying here have you been to a college like this before? If not, I can always give you the map of the place, we've all edited it for our own needs." Serila thought for a moment and was going to say no. She was used to having surprises and thought that be a better way of exploring around. But instead "No I haven't been to one like this.....that'd be great" she said smirking starting to walk toward the building.

SARAH My name is Sarah, the woman responded and turned on her heel the moment the girl started talking again. She slowly started walking away, and cracked her neck a bit as she did, still hoping that the others wouldn't have a problem with having yet another new person. The woman often times worried about her group of loners, because not everyone always got along with strangers and the like. Glancing over her shoulder towards Serilda, and having her usual blank expression, she unconsciously felt her lip twitch.
I'll get you a map, if you follow me. Sarah called over her shoulder, and then returned her gaze back to the path in front of her. She wasn't extremely keen on doing things for others, but seeing as how she hadn't seen her adopted son or his boyfriend she had to do these things herself. And that was extremely not to her liking. But she did it, because no one else would, especially for a stranger that they may have to get used to later.
