Idris Somone' Nixon A girl flapped her wings silently going through the trees. The scientist who released her from the hospital told her to find her own kind. But how she was only six years old. Golden brown eyes looking down below she saw a lake and tried landing near it but she was still learning with her wings. Rolling over a couple times before stopping at the water's edge she stood up dusting herself off. Looking around she didn't see anybody but she did see a small dock. "Looking for others like me is harder than anybody would think" she said softly letting her wings drop toward the ground somewhat unhappy. She had met very little people since the everything changed. Walking over to the dock she stopped at the edge and sat down looking out over the water. It made her smirk a little as the sun's rays reflected off of it. Taking one hand she leaned down touching the water. It felt pretty good and she stood up flapping her delicate white wings which now looked to be golden brown like her eyes, to glide over the water and touch it. She always loved playing in water and it was a good way of cheering her up. It made her remember when her and her family had all went swimming and her older brother had taught her to swim. Starting to hum her voice sounding very quiet.
