So, I figured, maybe there just are not enough races for people to chose from when they want to join.

But on the other hand I was also thinking maybe we do have enough already.

However, I want other people's opinions on the issue because I was wondering that maybe there just isn't enough to choose from for all the guests that show up. And, you know, don't ever seem interested.

If you do have a suggestion for a race though, why don't you post a reply here or even message me about it with a good valid description?

I was hoping to throw a few races out there, after I write up a few descriptions, and see what people would like to see here. But first, I'd like to see if anyone else has any ideas.

My answer is in two parts:

No, I think there are enough at the moment. Too many races all at once will lead to no social bonding between players. I think we should fill the ranks of at least 3 packs/flocks/groups/covens before adding an additional race.

However, I do think that additional races would be interesting. Especially those with a similar mythological bent to them, but manifested as such that they are explainable by scientific means (as most of the other races are.

Actually, I'm inclined to agree with what Eris said. I like the races we have right now, and I think they'll work really well once we get some more members.
If anyone has any specific ideas of how to expand on the mythos of the site, then that would be awesome. I think, with the whole radiation idea, there is a lot of opportunity for the creation of new, original races.
Maybe it would be easier to tie in new races if we had a bit more information about the mythos of this world? Just an idea; obviously I appreciate the sort of open, free-for-all attitude as well. I'm just not sure if we're supposed to be making up specifics or if there's a set history/location/map to work with. Just my 2 cents.

So basically, new races would be cool, but in my opinion we probably don't absolutely need them at the moment!

I just thought I'd ask of course, and I do realize I need to work on the specifics for the whole area here. I am working on that when I have the time, and no work to affect its process. I will have a new post for the information eventually, I promise.

New races weren't going to be added too soon, but just a possibility in the near future or far future depending.
