Joseph & Carmen - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The young man was idling in the hall as he kicked up a few bits of old broken glass and branches that laid on the ground. He didn't like being here in this place, never really did when it had been normal, but he shifted on his feet a little with a small grumble. All he was here for was to follow his sister, and make sure she was kept safe in within his own eye sight even if she put up such a fuss about it. Joseph wandered over to the door of the once popular "Forever 21" store that held a ton of young women's clothing, and tapped his fingers a little impatiently on the frame mindful of the glass.
"Hey! Carmen, are you going to be done yet?" Joseph called into the store, and glancing back outside where he was standing, just wanting the area to be safe and clear of any random parties of people or critters that probably meander around here from time to time. "We can't be here all day! This stuff is probably ruined!"
"Shut up, Jose!" A young womans voice this time, and she came out of the store with a hand on her hip with a pack slung over her shoulder that looked like she stuffed some clothes into. "For someone who is so stupidly protective, you make way too much noise. You could be telling things or people, where we are." Carmen commented, and huffed, turning on her heels and going straight into a fairly quick walk to get away from him at a short distance.
Ever since this big blow-up between worlds, she just kept getting more and more irritated with her brother, but at the same time glad he was still alive and willing to stick with her. The young woman could only take so much from him. She sighed, glancing back behind her when she heard him run up after after.

It was almost as if he didn't want to be here, but had some stupid urge to go to this mall where he had been so used to going to in the past. But since it was nearly in ruins, if not saved by the growing plant-life, he probably would have still wandered through. He briefly remembered all the times he was here with those friends that he missed the most, but had to now go through the world without. It wasn't that bad of a life, except feeling and not understanding why he saw things a normal person probably shouldn't be witnessing. His hands were inside his leather jacket, fumbling lightly with his rings that were firmly sticking to his pale skin. When he glanced towards a few pieces of glass that were still on the shops he was annoyingly having to face the state of his hair color. Eh, gotta live with it I guess, but why did it have to make it that color? He grumbled lightly under her breath, his hair was a vibrant pink when he was so used to seeing his once normal hair color. No matter how distracted he was, he lifted a hand and brushed his fingers through his hair, completely unaware or even listening to the fact he wasn't alone here in the mall. He seemed more transfixed on his hair, and fixing it again, if not fix his clothes a bit as well.
